Wes Grant-Parke is a full-time professional fly fishing guide with over 16 years of guiding experience and extensive international expertise. Based in Scotland, he specialises in guided fly fishing for Atlantic salmon, brown trout, sea trout, pike, perch, sea bass and pollock, delivering tailored experiences across some of Scotland’s most productive fisheries.
Wes’s global guiding portfolio includes destinations such as Botswana (tiger fish and African pike), Japan (tuna), Mauritius (marlin, giant trevally, jack Trevally and dorado), the Falkland Islands (sea trout and mullet), the USA (bass, redfish, bonefish and tarpon), Chile (brown trout), Canada (salmon), and Iceland (brown trout and salmon). This international experience enables him to adapt techniques and guide anglers in a wide range of conditions and species.
A decorated angler, Wes was RAF Fly Fishing Champion in 1994 and 1995. He has also received multiple industry awards, including the globally recognised Kingfisher Award (one of only six awarded worldwide), Best Guided Experience 2025, and Best International Fly Guiding Outfitter.
Wes is known for his professional approach, strong instructional ability, and commitment to delivering high-quality guided fly fishing experiences for all skill levels in Scotland and abroad.
